Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JsonLink — the website at jsonlink.io, the dashboard, the API, the free online tools and the MCP server (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided byJust Another App, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("JsonLink", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
JsonLink is a web data API. You send the URL of a public web page and receive structured data about it: metadata (title, description, images, favicon), the main content as Markdown, screenshots, links and images. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Accounts and API keys
- You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
- You are responsible for your account and for all activity made with your API key. Keep your key secret and regenerate it from the dashboard if it is exposed.
- One free account per person or organization. Creating multiple accounts to obtain extra free credits is not allowed.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- use it to access pages that require a login, bypass paywalls or access controls, or collect data you are not allowed to collect;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or violate the terms of the websites you process where those terms bind you;
- collect sensitive personal data, or use results for spam, harassment, fraud or surveillance;
- overload, attack or probe the Service, or try to circumvent rate limits, credit limits or security measures;
- resell or offer the Service as a competing API without our written permission.
You are responsible for how you use the data you obtain through the Service. We may suspend or block requests, URLs or accounts that put the Service or others at risk.
4. Plans, credits and payment
- Usage is measured in credits. Credit costs per endpoint and plan allowances are listed on the Pricing page and in the documentation. Failed requests are not charged.
- The free plan includes a monthly allowance of credits and may be limited or changed at any time.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe, who acts as Merchant of Record; local taxes may apply.
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next period.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
5. Your data
You keep all rights to the URLs you submit and the results you receive. You give us permission to process them only to provide and secure the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and documentation, belongs to JsonLink. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these Terms. The JsonLink MCP server is open source and licensed under its own license.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and fast, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every web page can be processed — some sites block automated access. We may perform maintenance and change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid service, we will give reasonable notice.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that could harm us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Data extracted from third-party websites may be incomplete or inaccurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JsonLink will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify JsonLink against claims arising from your use of the Service or the data you obtain with it in violation of these Terms or of the law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above; for material changes we will notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
